Everything on this page is in the product now. Every connection reads; none of them write to your systems. If something is not listed here, it is not connected, and we would rather tell you that than publish a roadmap.
Your firm grants each connection directly and chooses exactly which organisations or company files MindLedger can see. Reads happen during a job, when the agents need the data, not on a background sync schedule.
An OAuth connection your firm grants, with read permissions only. Reads organisation settings, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, bank summary, published activity statements, contacts, invoices, bank transactions, journals, attachments, fixed assets and Payroll AU.
OAuth connection to the company file you select; where MYOB requires a company-file login as well, it is stored encrypted. Reads accounts, journals, tax-code summaries, profit and loss, balance sheet, bank accounts and statement transactions, purchases, payroll, superannuation funds, timesheets and attachments. Used in production to pull client data today.
OAuth connection to the company you select. Reads trial balance, general ledger detail, profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables and payables reports, accounting entities and attachments. Used in production to pull client data today.
Running another ledger, or no cloud ledger at all? Jobs can run from exported reports and source documents through the same evidence intake below.
Your firm selects the sites, drives and folders MindLedger can read. Originals stay exactly where they are in your document store; the files a job needs are copied in as evidence. MindLedger never renames, moves or writes anything in your SharePoint.
Each job gets its own email address. Anything sent to it, body and attachments, lands in that job as evidence, so clients and colleagues can forward documents without logging into anything.
Drop files or whole folders into a job in the MindLedger app: PDFs, scans, images, spreadsheets and CSVs. Bank statements, loan statements, fixed asset registers, debtors listings, stocktake summaries and prior-year workpapers all come in this way, with each extracted value tied back to its source.
An optional import of client and group records from XPM, so jobs are created against the entities your practice already manages. Client records only; it does not touch jobs, documents or workpapers in XPM.
MindLedger has no direct connection into ATO portals and holds no myGovID or RAM login. ATO reports your firm obtains under its own authority, such as account activity, lodged activity statements or PAYG data, come in through document intake and are read like any other evidence.
Entity details are checked against the Australian Business Register, and ABN, registration and GST status come from that lookup.
Lodgement never happens in MindLedger. The draft tax return is prepared as a PDF for your review, and lodgement stays in your own tax software, under your firm’s own access.
No connection writes to your ledger or document store. Adjusting journals, workpapers and reports are prepared inside MindLedger and delivered to you.
You choose the organisations, company files, sites and folders each connection can see, and nothing outside that selection is touched.
Data is read while a job runs, when the agents need it. There is no standing background sync trawling your systems.
Cut access from the provider’s side or delete the connection in MindLedger at any time. Connection tokens are stored encrypted.
Tell us what your firm runs when you register. Jobs work from exported reports and documents today, and what partner firms ask for shapes what we connect next.
